Uzakrota started its 2025 summit marathon from Kuala Lumpur!

Uzakrota, one of the most comprehensive events that bring together the tourism and travel industry and acts as a bridge between continents and regions, held its first summit of 2025 in Malaysia. The summit, which convened at Novotel Kuala Lumpur with the sponsorship of Turkish Airlines, Tourism Malaysia, Nexus DMC and Tourmania, brought together more than 500 tourism professionals who play an active role in the geography extending from Asia to the Middle East. The summit was also attended by 30 speakers, including representatives of the Malaysian Ministry of Tourism.

A door opening to a population of 4 billion

Noting that they have established a worldwide travel bridge by bringing local brands together, Uzakrota Founder Gökhan Erdoğan explained the importance of Malaysia on the 2025 summit route as follows: ‘’We chose Malaysia as the first stop due to its close historical and cultural relationship with Turkey; We see it as a fortress that will enable us to reach the population of 4 billion in the Asian region. We have established direct connections with the Malaysian, Indonesian, Singaporean, Chinese, Korean and Indian markets through the Malay, Indian and Chinese population living in the country. We have signed new partnerships after our event in Malaysia; we are bringing important brands of the travel market such as Tiket.com, Yanolja, Trinidad Holdings, Nuh Travel, Nexus DMC, Cleartrip and Trip.com to Istanbul.’’

Gökhan Erdoğan provided the following information about the 2025 summit route after Malaysia: ‘’We have started our 2025 summit journey in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We will bring together the world’s and our region’s leading aviation, cruise brands, technology brands, travel agencies, tour operators, authorized tourism offices of countries and the strongest names of chain hotels in our summits to be held in Dubai on September 30 and in Istanbul on November 28. Brands that want to open up to new markets, those that want to open up outside our region or those that want to come to our region will thus be able to catch new opportunities and follow the developments in the sector closely and one-on-one.’’
