ALL NIPPON AIRWAYS AND SINGAPORE AIRLINES
DEEPENING COMMERCIAL COLLABORATION
All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Singapore Airlines (SIA) plan to launch revenue-sharing flights between Singapore and Japan from September 2025. Joint fare products for these services will be available in May 2025, further deepening the commercial partnership.
This move will enable ANA and Singapore Airlines to offer additional value to customers beyond their existing codeshare partnership, including a wider range of fare options, better coordination of flight schedules between Singapore and Japan, and seamless connectivity between Star Alliance carriers.
Both airlines are working to offer enhanced mutual benefits to ANA Mileage Club and KrisFlyer frequent flyer members, including the ability to earn miles across a wider range of booking classes on ANA and Singapore Airlines flights. Both airlines will align corporate programs to strengthen offerings for business travelers.
Subject to regulatory approvals, ANA and Singapore Airlines plan to expand the scope of the joint venture beyond Japan and Singapore to include other key markets such as Australia, India, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Since signing their commercial joint venture agreement in January 2020, ANA and Singapore Airlines have significantly expanded their codeshare arrangements, providing customers with more travel options between Japan and Singapore and beyond.
ANA customers can access up to 25 destinations on Singapore Airlines’ network. Singapore Airlines customers can seamlessly connect to 34 destinations on ANA’s network, including ANA’s domestic flights to 30 destinations in Japan.
Mr. Shinichi Inoue, CEO of All Nippon Airways, said: “This joint venture with Singapore Airlines is more than a strategic alliance. It represents ANA’s vision to usher in a new era of customer experience that redefines expectations. Just as ANA is dedicated to consistently exceeding expectations and maintaining the highest standards, so is Singapore Airlines, and this joint venture will be a testament to that commitment. With this strong synergy between two leading Asian airline brands, we are confident that we will set a new benchmark for service and customer experience that will change the way passengers view air travel.”
Singapore Airlines CEO Mr Goh Choon Phong said: “This strategic partnership between Singapore Airlines and All Nippon Airways brings together two of Asia’s leading carriers. With our extensive network and industry-leading products and services, we can join forces to significantly enhance our customer service offering.
Joint fare products, revenue sharing flights and expanded codeshare arrangements are just the beginning. As we align our frequent flyer and corporate travel programmes and add more markets to our joint venture agreement, we can deliver even greater value, better connectivity and an exceptional experience to our customers travelling between Singapore and Japan and beyond.”
