AIR NEW ZEALAND AND SINGAPORE AIRLINES RECEIVE NECESSARY APPROVALS FOR EXPANSION OF JOINT VENTURE COOPERATION

Air New Zealand and Singapore Airlines (SIA) welcomed the decision of New Zealand Deputy Minister of Transport, Hon Matt Doocey, to approve the joint venture cooperation for a further five years until March 2029.

This development allows Air New Zealand and Singapore Airlines to continue to offer customers greater value, greater choice and access to a vast global network in the coming years.

Air New Zealand and Singapore Airlines have increased seat capacity between New Zealand and Singapore by nearly 50% over the 10-year partnership. This includes the addition of 3 daily services between Auckland and Singapore and 1 daily service between Christchurch and Singapore
