Galataport Istanbul will host special events as part of the Beyoğlu Cultural Road Festival, which will be organized for the third time by the TR Ministry of Culture and Tourism between 1 and 23 October. Concerts to be held at Clock Tower Square, Overcoming the Walls: Open Space Sculpture Exhibition and special gastronomic experiences will offer a rich program to its guests.
Located in Karaköy, one of the oldest districts of ISTANBUL in terms of historical and cultural richness, Galataport Istanbul continues its cultural and artistic activities in an accessible, public space for everyone. Galataport Istanbul has also been at the starting point of the Beyoğlu Cultural Road Festival, implemented by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, since its first year. During the festival, the open space exhibition “Breaking Walls: Sculpture in Open Space” and concerts by artists such as Ayhan Sicimoğlu, Burhan Öcal, Goran Bregovic, Murat Boz and Sertab Erener will meet with visitors at Galataport Istanbul Clock Tower Square. Workshops to be held in the field of gastronomy and special menus to be applied by various restaurants during the festival will be accessible via the Galataport Istanbul mobile application.
The works of 11 artists meet at the “Breaking Walls: Open Space Sculpture” Exhibition
Galataport Istanbul supports art with the art of sculpture, which is considered the most effective creative discipline in transforming open spaces into public art. Galataport Istanbul, which will host the “Exceeding the Walls: Open Space Sculpture Exhibition”, which consists of 11 sculptures and installations in the Clock Tower Square during the Beyoğlu Cultural Road Festival, will bring together the new expansions in the concept of space in today's art with this exhibition. Crossing the Walls: Open Space Sculpture Exhibition, consisting of works by Turkish contemporary sculpture artists such as Ali Abayoğlu, Ardan Özmenoğlu, Bahadır Çolak, Bilal Hakan Karakaya, Çağdaş Erçelik, Daniele Sigalot, Erdal Duman, Fırat Engin, Gönül Nuhoğlu, Kadriye İnal and Kazım Karakaya Clock Tower Square can be visited free of charge during the festival.
Beyoğlu Culture Road Concerts at Galataport Istanbul
Galataport Istanbul brings together a large-scale concert feast with its guests during the Beyoğlu Cultural Road Festival. The concert series, which will be offered free of charge to music lovers at Clock Tower Square, will begin with Emre Aydın on October 1 at 20:30. Within the scope of Beyoğlu Culture Road concerts that will last until October 23; Yüksek Sadakat will meet with their fans at Clock Tower Square on October 2, Levent Yüksel on October 5, Moldovan Embassy on October 6, Jabbar on October 7, Sertab Erener on October 8, Ayhan Sicimoğlu, one of the first names that come to mind when Latin music is mentioned on October 9, 12 October Erol Evgin, who has been loved from the past to the present with his voice and songs, on October 14, Murat Boz, on October 15, Bengü, on October 16 the popular name of Balkan music Goran Bregovic, on October 19, percussion master Burhan Öcal, on October 20, Murat Dalkılıç and Ziynet Sali on October 21. Galataport Istanbul also offers innovations to its guests through the mobile application as part of the Beyoğlu Cultural Road Festival. During the festival, visitors will have the chance to experience the festival-specific menus at selected restaurants via the Galataport Istanbul mobile application, as well as to participate in dessert and coffee workshops.

The intersection of culture, art and design
The Clock Tower Square, named after the Tophane Clock Tower, one of the landmarks of Galataport Istanbul, located in its center, is located right in the middle of Istanbul Modern and MSGSÜ Istanbul Painting and Sculpture Museum, which are among the best examples of art in Turkey. The square has been hosting important events in the city's annual culture and arts calendar since October 2021, when Galataport Istanbul started hosting its guests. It is predicted that Galataport will contribute 72% to the culture and art activities around Istanbul
