Oris presents its third, five-day durable automatic watch created in partnership with the Carl Brashear Foundation: the Oris in-house Caliber 401.
Oris announced that they are proud to present the Oris Limited Edition Carl Brashear Caliber 401, produced with the support of the Carl Brashear Foundation. Moreover, this watch, limited to only 2,000 pieces, bears the Oris Caliber 401, the second movement of the new in-house automatic family.
Not only because it symbolizes the diving helmet Carl wore during his master diving career in the US Navy, but because it is a metal that tells its own story, this new watch is in a 40mm bronze case. Moreover, Bronze is a natural material that changes when it reacts with oxygen in the air and moisture in your skin. Thus, over time, the watch achieves a unique ending, as if it presents the visual history of the wearer’s own life.
