Celestyal expands its partnership with global coffee brand Illy
Good news for coffee lovers! The coffee bar, which was first established on a cruise ship, is now expanding with a second ship. Celestyal will also offer its guests the pleasure of real coffee on the Journey ship, which is preparing for the Arabian Gulf cruise.
To celebrate World Coffee Day on October 1, Celestyal announced that it has opened Cafe Nation on the Journey in collaboration with Illy, after Discovery. The expert coffee bar ‘Café Nation’ is ready for the Arabian Gulf season, which will start on the Journey ship in late November.
Celestyal, which opened on the 1260-passenger Journey ship after Discovery with a capacity of 1266 guests, became the first coffee bar on the Arabian Gulf cruise line after the Greek Islands. Café Nation, which attracts attention as a place where guests can connect to the internet, relax and socialize throughout the day, has the comfort that will make those who work remotely and are on vacation happy, following the new generation ‘workation’ trend.
The onboard café menu includes barista-prepared hot coffees, herbal teas, creamy hot chocolates and frappuccinos, iced coffees and teas, and cold brewed coffee. There are also seven different coffee varieties on offer, five of which are single-origin, blended premium or decaf. Café Nation offers more than 90 specialty beverages, and guests can personalize their orders. Founded in 1933, Illy is one of the world’s most recognized coffee brands, and is sourced from the top 1 percent of Arabica beans grown worldwide. The unique blend is made from 100 percent Arabica varieties.
